Rates & Fees

Transparency is important to us. Below you'll find detailed information about our rates and fee structure.

In Wisconsin, title loans are regulated under Wis. Stat. § 138.16. Wisconsin law does not impose a maximum interest rate (APR cap) on title loans before the maturity date. Because of this, rates can vary significantly between lenders and are generally much higher than traditional bank loans. The loan principal cannot exceed 50% of your vehicle's retail value, and the original loan term cannot be longer than six (6) months. If the loan is not paid in full by the maturity date, lenders may charge a maximum interest rate of 2.75% per month on the outstanding balance. As a matching service, Wisconsin Title Connect does not set the interest rates, fees, or terms of your loan. The lender you are connected with will provide a detailed disclosure of all costs, including the APR and any applicable fees, before you sign the agreement.

Annual Percentage Rate (APR)

Varies by lender (No statutory APR cap in Wisconsin before maturity)

Loan Amount Term APR Finance Charge Total Repayment
$1,000 1 Month 300% $250 $1,250
$2,000 3 Months 240% $1,200 $3,200
$5,000 6 Months 180% $4,500 $9,500

Representative examples only. Wisconsin Title Connect is not a lender and does not determine your rates. In Wisconsin, there is no statutory cap on the interest rate a lender may charge before maturity. Actual APRs, fees, and terms will vary based on the lender, your vehicle's value, and your creditworthiness. Late fees and non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees may apply if you miss a payment.
